The Family Campout is the grand finale of the Wichita Nation season — and we go out in style by heading across the Red River to Murray State Park in Oklahoma. Set on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray, this is the perfect setting for season awards, the Big Chief passing ceremony, and celebrating another incredible year of brotherhood.
Moms and siblings are invited to join Sunday morning for the family brunch and closing ceremony — our biggest gathering of the year. Season patches are awarded, the outgoing Big Chief passes the headdress to the new Big Chief, and families celebrate together around the lake.
