As the temperatures drop and the oaks blaze with color, the Fall Campout at Lake Ray Roberts delivers some of the most scenic camping in North Texas. The Isle du Bois Unit sits on a peninsula stretching into one of the largest lakes in the Metroplex — with water on three sides, you'll wake up to incredible sunrises over the lake.
Expect kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (rentals available at the marina), excellent bass fishing on the docks, and some of the best fall hiking in the region on the 2.5-mile Greenbelt Corridor Trail. The Nation has reserved a lakeside group loop with direct water access — prime real estate!
