About Us

We are the Wichita Nation Indian Guides of the Bear Creek Federation based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.

The Indian Guides program provides an environment where Fathers/Sons can be "Pals Forever" by sponsoring social events, such as bowling, rock climbing, pinewood derby, rocket day, sporting events and our infamous camping trips.

Membership in the Wichita Nation is extended to Fathers and Sons in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  Indian Guides targets Fathers with Boys in Kindergarten through fourth grade, and we have a new program called Red Arrow that invites graduates of the Indian Guides program to return after graduation to develop their leadership skills by acting as mentors for the younger braves.

Fathers with Daughters in this age group should visit the Indian Princess website for our community at dfwindianprincess.com.
Visit tatankanation.org for details on Indian Guides and Indian Princess programs in the McKinney, Texas area.

Our Purpose

To foster understanding and companionship between father and son.

Our Aims

To be clean in body and pure in heart.
To be pals forever with my father/son.
To love the sacred circle of my family.
To listen while others speak.
To love my neighbor as myself.
To seek and preserve the beauty of the Great Spirits' work in forest, field, and stream.

Our Pledge

We, father and son, through friendly service to each other, to our family, to this Tribe, and to our community, seek a world pleasing to the eye of the Great Spirit.

Wichita Nation Indian Guides would like to thank the sponsors below for their generous contributions.
